Hibari to Tsuru

During the Edo period, Hibari, a disgraced samurai’s son who’s fallen into a life of pickpocketing, encounters Umichiru, a boy dispatched to Edo as part of a Ryukyuan mission. What do we value most in our lives? This is a story of rebirth that asks the question of where one’s heart truly lies.
